Tension Headaches

Researchers had believed at one time that tension headaches were caused by built up tension in the muscles of the face and neck. New research has shown that stress is one of the leading causes for tension headaches. Stress causes fluctuations in the neurotransmitters of the brain the brain chemicals (serotonin and endorphins).
